Enjoying the cousins

My sister's girls come and hang out with us some during the summer. She works a part-time job in the summer, since she's on a school schedule, and we get to hang out with her girls. We did a lot of fun things this summer, but for some reason I didn't get my camera out much.

I did capture a big storm we had. It was pouring rain. And if you know AZ you know that our houses are not designed for down pours. Hence the waterfall coming down right in front of our front door. I guess that's what you get with no gutters to clean! We really enjoyed watching the wild weather until it turned on us and started to blow rain into the house. That was the end of that fun. BTW- I took this picture at about 4pm.



One day we did pedicures- well I gave 4 pedicures. I was pretty high after painting 40 toes. I don't know how people do that for a living... yikes. I did buy the girls some "eco" polish that doesn't smell, but it comes off the minute they get in the pool. So it's now "winter polish only."



We had a beautiful rain with big huge raindrops, no crazy wind, and it was almost sunny! However, our desert rats wanted umbrellas to go and play. I guess they never get to use their umbrellas so it was fun to shake the dust off of them and make sure they still worked.
